to my little photography bloggy journaly thing.  I figured coming to livejournal would be a good way to both pimp my stuff and find other folks to network with.  I'm still learning, and still working with a point and shoot camera (though I completely adore my little GE x5), but I'm working on it.
Anyway, welcome again, and please feel free to add me or comment on my work.  All feedback is greatly appreciated. :)

I apologize for my extended absence as of late. I've been moving and such, but I should be getting back into the swing of things shortly. I've got four or five new photos up at DeviantArt, and i'll post them on here later this week. If you can't wait, go to my deviantArt page.

This is more of a candid snapshot than anything, but the story was neat so I figured I'd share. These fellows work for the town maintenance department, and today was grass mowing day at the municipal park. Since there's a fence between the park and the road bank they have to mow, they decided to ride the lawn tractors around the block to finish their work. I saw this, got my camera ready, and waited. Just as they passed by, they noticed me, and you can see their reaction. I was laughing for a good ten minutes afterwards. Such nice guys!

I've been too sick to shoot for the last few days. There have been times I haven't even been able to sit up long enough to use the computer. But, I'm on the mend and hope to remedy this in the next few days. :)
